Carbon Reduction Plan
The Battersea Clinic Limited
Reporting Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025
1. Commitment to Achieving Net Zero by 2050
The Battersea Clinic Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in alignment with UK Government policy and the requirements of Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 06/21.
2. Organisational Boundary
This Carbon Reduction Plan applies to all operations of The Battersea Clinic Limited at its London-based premises, including clinical, administrative, and support activities.
3. Reporting Year
This plan covers the 12-month period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.

- 100% renewable electricity (REGO-backed)
- Smart thermostat and HVAC optimisation

- Public transport and active-travel staff policy
- Zero-emission couriers for sample transport
- Telemedicine options to limit patient travel
Waste & Water
- Improved clinical waste segregation
- Expanded recycling streams
- Water-efficient fixtures installed
Procurement
- Preference for suppliers with ISO 14001 or environmental reporting
- Lower-carbon consumables prioritised where clinically appropriate
7. Environmental Management Measures for Contract Performance
The following measures will apply to any contract delivered by The Battersea Clinic Limited:
- Operation aligned with ISO 14001 environmental management principles
- Use of renewable electricity at all delivery sites
- Strict waste and recycling controls
- Digital-first, paper-free administrative practices
- Annual reporting of contract-related emissions
- Environmental awareness training for all contract staff
8. Governance, Monitoring & Reporting
Carbon performance is monitored quarterly by senior leadership and reviewed each year. Updates to reduction activities will be published annually.
9. Public Availability
This Carbon Reduction Plan will be published on The Battersea Clinic Limited’s website in accordance with PPN 06/21.
