EYE BAGS

Eye bags present as puffiness below the eyes. This is due to the natural process of skin ageing, including causing naturally occurring fatty deposits to fall and accumulate in the lower lid.

As we age the supporting muscles around our eyes can weaken which leads to impairment of the support that they offer. Eye bags are also often accompanied by dark circles where the pouch causes shadowing leading to the appearance of dark circles.


The skin around the eyes is thinner than that of the rest of the face, making redness a further concern. When a person has eye bags this can give them an aged, droopy, tired appearance. With eye bag surgery, we are able to remove the fatty deposits and tighten the skin to leave you looking more youthful, rested, alert and refreshed.
